2026 Kawasaki Z900 launched at Rs 9.99 lakh

The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 gets two new colours, a slight hike in power and torque and no mechanical changes.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948CC, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, in-line four cylinder engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine pushes a good 125 PS at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm. The bike has a ground clearance of 145 mm, a 17-litre fuel tank, a 212 kg curb weight, 830 mm seat height, and a wheelbase of 1,450 mm.

The bike rides on 17-inch wheels that come with a 300 mm twin rotor up front performing braking duties and a 250 mm single rotor at the rear. The alloys come shod with latest Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm USD fork with rebound damping, and spring preload adjustability for the front section and a horizontal back-link gas-charged  monoshock with rebound damping, and spring preload adjustability.

In terms of rider aids, the new 2026 Z900 comes equipped with features like electronic cruise control, cornering management function, smartphone tethering, three-mode traction control, power modes, electronic throttle valves, assist and slipper clutch, a quickshifter, ABS, LED headlamps, LED taillights with light guiding technology, turn-by-turn navigation, and a five-inch TFT-dash to name a few.

The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 rivals the likes of the Triumph Street Triple R, Ducati Monster, Honda CB650R to name a few.
