2026 Ducati Monster unveiled globally

Ducati has officially unveiled the 2026 Monster, with updated powertrain, chassis and styling. India launch of the bike is expected to be somewhere around 2026. 

  • Powered by a 890cc V2 engine producing 111 PS  and 91.1Nm
  • The motorcycle carries a lightweight aluminium monocoque frame with a kerb weight of 175kg, 
  • Riding aids include cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, riding modes and a 5-inch TFT colour instrument console. 

The new 890cc, liquid-cooled, V2 engine pushes a healthy 111 PS at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm. The bike rides on 17-inch alloys on either side that comes shod with Pirelli Diablo Roso IV rubber. The saddle height of the new Ducati Monster stands at 815 mm as standard, it can be lowered to 795 mm with the low seat accessory and with the low suspension kit it can be lowered further to 775 mm.

The safety equipment list includes riding modes, power modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, cornering ABS, and auto tyre calibration to name a few. And the standard equipment list comprises of a quickshifter, colour TFT dash, full LED lighting, LED DRLs, dynamic and self canceling turn indicators along with a lap timer. 

The suspension of the bike includes 43mm Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear, with braking handled by Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers paired with 320mm front discs. Ducati has also increased long-term practicality with an extended 45,000km valve clearance. 

The new Monster carries the aesthetic of its 1993 original model and will offer the 2026 Monster in multiple colour options, i.e, Ducati Red and Iceberg White. In India, the current 937cc Ducati Monster price starts at Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will rival the likes of Triumph Street, Triple RS, Kawasaki Z900 and BMW F 900 R.
