2025 Volvo XC60 facelift launched for Rs 71.90 lakh
The 2025 Volvo XC60 facelift has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 71.90 lakh ex-showroom, while the engine and output remains the same, there are a host of new features.
On the outside there is a fresh grille upfront with the new Volvo logo, flanked by LED headlamp units and the signature Thor's hammer shaped DRLs. The outgoing silhouette remains unchanged for the luxury sedan, but it gets new 19-inch diamond cut alloys. The taillights have been tweaked a little but those are all the changes on the outside.
The interiors on the other hand have received a host of changes, for starters the new 11.2-inch touchscreen system takes center stage on the dashboard, it comes with Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay, it also comes with Google Services subscription for up to five years. There is a 12.3-inch digital driver's dash, front seats that are ventilated and heated seats with massage function, a handmade crystal gear selector, a panoramic sunroof and Nappa leather upholstery to name a few.
The driver aids include a suite of Level-2 ADAS functions such us adaptive cruise control, pilot assists, blind spot monitoring, and cross traffic alert with auto brake function. Other mentions include EBD, 360-degree camera, ABS, and eight-airbags.
The Volvo XC60 continues to use a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that is coupled to an torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine pushes 250 PS of power and 360 Nm of peak torque, the top speed is locked at 180 kmph. The engine also uses a 48V mild hybrid battery that assists the engine.
The Volvo XC60 locks horns with the likes of the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Lexus NX to name a few.
