2022 Toyota Land Cruiser bookings now open in India
Toyota has started accepting bookings for the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 in India. It is rumoured that the booking amount has been set at Rs 10 lakh via Toyota dealerships. The new LC300 will be available in India as a completely imported unit, much like its predecessor, the LC200.
Due to great demand and chip scarcity, the new Land Cruiser 300's waiting times outside of the country can reach up to three years in some markets.
The 2022 Land Cruiser will be 4,985mm long, 1,980mm wide, and 1,945mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,850mm. The model will feature 230mm of ground clearance. Super White, Precious White Pearl, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Attitude Black, and Dark Blue Mica will be the model's available colours.
The Toyota Land Cruiser will initially only be offered with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine. This motor will be modified to provide a peak output of 305PS and 700 Newton meters of torque.
LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a new grille, new front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, wrap-around two-piece LED tail lights, three interior theme options, a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, connected car technology, a fully digital instrument console, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, and a 14-speaker audio system from JBL are just a few of the features of the upcoming Toyota Land Cruise
According to dealer sources, the India-spec Toyota Land Cruiser 300 would only be offered as a 5-seater, unlike the vehicle marketed internationally, which has a 7-seat configuration option. However, Toyota has said that the Land Cruiser 300 will come with a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty.
