2022 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG launched in India, prices start from Rs 7.77 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG-powered version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift. Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Swift S-CNG start from Rs 7.77 lakh and bookings have commenced already across Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships. This is the ninth CNG model to be added to the Maruti Suzuki line-up, with CNG models having accounted for over 10 lakh sales so far.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG specifications, fuel efficiency
The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG continues with the same 1.2-litre K-series petrol motor as the petrol-powered car. In the CNG mode, this puts out 77PS and 99 Nm. These outputs rise to 90PS and 119 Nm in the petrol mode. The Swift CNG can be had only with the five-speed manual.
The suspension has been reworked to account for the CNG components while the CNG system uses dual ECUs and a different injection system to ensure optimal performance, For safety, there is corrosion and leak-resistant stainless steel piping, integrated wire harnesses and a microswitch to make sure the car is not on while refuelling. The Swift CNG has an ARAI-rated mileage figure of 30.90 km/kg. Maruti Suzuki claims this makes the Swift the most efficient and most powerful CNG hatch in the country.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG variants, features
The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG can be had in the LXI and VXi variants. The features list remains the same as the petrol model with highlights like an updated 4.2-inch colour TFT MID between the analogue instrumentation, and key-synchronised auto-fold ORVMs, apart from front fog lamps, a 7-inch Smartplay Studio touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, 6 speakers, Push button start and auto climate control.

The top Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG ZXi costs Rs 8.45 lakh while the LXi is priced at Rs 7.77 lakh.
