2018 Tata Tigor launched in India, variants explained
Tata Motors has launched the updated Tigor at Rs 5.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The company has clearly mentioned that these are the introductory prices of the compact sedan in India, which we believe will make an attractive buy for its prospective audiences in this festive season. Tata Motors has already a positive response for the Tigor sedan. And we believe this update will further enhance its appeal. The changes that have been introduced in the updated Tata Tigor are cosmetic in nature without any change in mechanicals. The Tigor is available with both, petrol and diesel motors, lifted straight off the Tiago. Both engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The 1.2-litre petrol unit develops 85PS and 114Nm while the 1.05-litre diesel engine produces 70PS and 140Nm. While the diesel motor will be the obvious choice for those who cover long distances on a daily basis, our pick is the petrol motor that's both refined and peppy. Now that the prices are out, here's a detailed look at the variants of the 2018 Tata Tigor.
