2014 Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition bookings start in India
Porsche India has just announced that bookings of the Cayenne Platinum Edition have opened. Prices of the feature rich SUV are awaited though. Deliveries will start from February 2014. The Cayenne Platinum Edition comes in both 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engines and gets standard Bi-Xenon headlamps, ParkAssist at front and rear, Power Steering Plus and privacy glazing at the rear. There are silver metallic inserts on the air intake slats of the front apron, side window surrounds, rear bumper trim and spoiler lip. The 'Carrara White' metallic paint finish is exclusive to this edition though the usual colours of black, white and black metallic are still on offer. Rounding off the exterior changes are the 19-inch 'Cayenne Design II' wheels.
2014 Porsche Platinum Edition
Inside, there is partial leather two-tone upholstery, Porsche logos embossed on the head rests and Platinum Edition door sill guards. The Platinum Edition comes with 'Porsche Communication Management' system. PCM essentially comprises of a 7-inch hi-res touchscreen navigation module and a 235 watt 11-speaker sound system. The mechanicals remain untouched with 300Ps from the petrol and 245PS from the diesel.
