The teaser image seems to follow what we already know from the leaked images from a few weeks ago. There's a larger grille in the front, a more chiselled bonnet, and the slimmer rectangular LED headlamps are similar to the facelifted E-Class. The front bumper is also ama stately design with a layered element in them, aside from the chrome. Here, multi-spoke 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels are visible as well. The blue highlighting shows that the headlamps could be a version of the Multibeam LED units

We expect engine options to be an evolution of what is currently on offer now, starting with the 2-litre M264 petrol and OM 654 diesel, a pair of inline-six motors and going up to a 4.0-litre V8, which should also see an AMG version. The V12 should also carry on in the top-tier Maybach versions, but all of these engines will most likely see improved efficiency through quite a high degree of electrification.
