Skoda India lowers maintenance costs under Peace of Mind campaign

Skoda India has launched the new Skoda Octavia and the Skoda Kushaq with the facelifted Skoda Kodiaq and new sedan following soon. Concurrently, Skoda India has been working on offering more attractive after-sales support and maintenance costs. Skoda has been working around to decrease its maintenance costs under the Peace of Mind campaign. As per the latest changes, the engine oil prices for gasoline-powered cars are reduced by 32 per cent. Skoda has also altered the prices of its spare parts and revised the part change intervals that have lowered the maintenance costs by 21 per cent.

Skoda has built the Peace of Mind strategy on four pillars - the cost of ownership, customer reach, convenience and transparency. To increase its reach, the Czech carmaker plans to extend its reach to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by setting up 185 after-sales touchpoints, including Skoda MobiCare. To keep the process transparent, Skoda has also launched an online service cost calculator that can provide the cost estimate for the respective service intervals. With the Peace of Mind campaign, Skoda promises to offer a world-class vehicle ownership experience and the reduced maintenance costs would be very helpful to lure prospective customers.
