OVERDRIVE August 2019 issue on stands now!

Electrifying news for everybody – the Hyundai Kona is here! As India's first all-electric SUV, the Kona sets the ball rolling for desirable, and relatively attainable, zero-emissions cars. And we've driven it at India's mecca for performance, the Buddh International Circuit. Of course, to prove that the internal combustion engine can still pull its own weight, we've also driven the most powerful Maserati in production ever – the Levante Trofeo, and we bring you that review from Italy.

We also have our impressions of the first product from the newest manufacturer in the country, the Kia Seltos. Elsewhere in the issue, another new manufacturer takes on a new SUV from one of India's oldest manufacturers – it's time for the MG Hector vs Tata Harrier! This issue also carries features on Lee Iaccoca, a visionary who led Ford and Chrysler into new eras. Apart from which, we have an exquisite detailing of the history of the longest running car in production, the timeless Volkswagen Beetle. To show how far the automobile owning experience has come, we also take a look at the ownership costs for one of the quickest growing luxury segments in the country – the mid-size SUV.

On two wheels, we've ridden BMW's brand new S1000RR at the BIC and the F 850 GS Adventure off-road – exactly where they were meant to be ridden. We've also answered the question many of you seem to have. What makes a better beginner ADV, the Hero XPulse 200, or the Royal Enfield Himalayan? But you'll have to read the issue to find out. We also have tests of the KTM RC125 and Bajaj Platina H-gear.

In our Motorsport section, we cover the most epic racing battles of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We also look at the changing scape of Indian motorsport, with the relatively new Indian Touring Cars going turbo. In the rally circuit, the new Mahindra Super XUV300 R2 looks set to shake things up.
