Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV: Design

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV is a variation of the Mercedes-EQS flagship SUV, as the name suggests. This new electrified goliath has the same rounded contour as its EQS sister. The false grille is made of patterned black plastic, and it incorporates the radar suite and other sensors. On the plus side, the hood ornament has survived the modern era and now sits proudly on the Maybach's bow.

The radar sensors for ADAS and other tech components are housed in the huge black panel. The front bumper includes chrome parts as well, while the upper half of the grille features chrome "Maybach" writing. This fits in nicely with the attached LED strip, which integrates with the headlights on both sides.

Wheel options include 21-inch alloy or 22-inch forged wheels with prominent Maybach lettering. The SUV also receives anodized metal running boards with lights from the factory. The optional two-tone paintwork is also typical of the brand

The slightly distinctive patterned taillamps have a connected LED strip with Maybach branding at the back. Chrome trim pieces may also be seen on the tailgate, rear apron and spoiler lip.
