Live updates: 2018 Ford Freestyle India launch
Ford is launching the all-new Freestyle shortly, a crossover hatchback, that the manufacturer is calling a CUV or Compact Utility Vehicle. The Ford Freestyle is thus based on the Figo hatch but is an all-new offering with significant changes to the chassis apart from the taller ride height. The Freestyle also marks the debut of Ford's all-new, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder 'Dragon series' petrol engine which offers 96PS and 120Nm, as also a brand-new, five-speed manual transmission.
The Ford Freestyle will also be offered with Ford's tried and tested, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that offers 100PS and 215Nm. The Ford Freestyle comes equipped with SYNC 3.0, which offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity via a 6.5-inch touchscreen.
