Land Rover brings unique travel experiences to India with 'Defender Journeys'
Jaguar Land Rover India has introduced specially curated and unique travel experiences, Defender Journeys, in India. This is a multi-day, self-drive adventure itinerary that will cover several ambitious and popular routes around India.
Land Rover Defender 110 cars will be used for this program. Each Defender Journey will feature opulent accommodations, gracious service, lifestyle encounters, cultural immersion, and a drive over some of India's most famous highways with off-road paths that provide the full Defender driving experience. To provide a highly individualized and personalized experience, just 5 driving slots will be available for each Journey's 5 Defenders.
From January 16 to 22, 2023, the inaugural journey, dubbed Konkan Experience, will take place. From Goa to Bengaluru, a road journey will pass through the beautiful cities of Gokarna and Coorg. A second Konkan Experience road excursion from Bengaluru to Goa will take place later on March 12.
From January 22 to 28, Nilgiri Experience will be taking place. The first journey is from Bengaluru to Coimbatore, while a second journey from Coimbatore to Bengaluru will take place between March 5 and March 11. This "trip" features a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train as well as the beautiful scenery of Ooty and Wayanad.
Other forthcoming excursions include the Malabar Experience from Coimbatore to Kochi and the Coromandel Experience, which travels the Eastern Ghats from Coimbatore to Chennai.
Each adventure will include some off-roading, but qualified Land Rover instructors will be on hand to guarantee the tourists' security and comfort. For the complete trip for two individuals on each of the journeys, the cost is Rs. 4.5 lakh.
