Kia Seltos facelift spied ahead of expected 2022 debut

Close on the heels of the global debut of the Kia Carens, spy images have appeared of the mid-life update to the Kia Seltos. Having been on sale since 2019, the popular mid-sized SUV is coming up to a mid-cycle update, made even more apparent by the fact that the closely related Hyundai Creta has already received one globally.

The Kia Seltos is expected to move to the new design direction Kia is rolling out across its models globally. This should result in a more stylized fascia dominated by an enlarged set of two-part headlamps. There should also be a larger griller in a two-part design with new detailing and textured details. A snazzier set of alloy wheels are also visible, although the general silhouette and body panels should remain unchanged. At the rear, expect to see a more organic set of LED taillamps with numerous elements while a heavily chrome-accented rear bumper can be expected.
