Kia Carens receives over 50,000 bookings in two months

Kia India's astute pricing of the Kia Carens has made the MPV quite a success. The Korean brand has now received over 50,000 bookings for the Carens since bookings opened on January 14.

Kia Carens bookings split

The Kia Carens seems to be popular across the country with 60 per cent of the bookings coming from Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, with Tier 3 cities and beyond making up the rest. Both petrol and diesel variants are equally popular, with bookings split 50:50 between them. Most people seem to prefer the manual version, with the automatics taking up 30 per cent of the bookings. This could be due to most owners of the Carens being chauffeured or due to the fewer automatic variants on offer. As for the most popular trim levels, the top Luxury and Luxury Plus variants have accounted for 45 per cent of the bookings.
