Jaguar XJ now available with a new V6 engine
Jaguar has released details of its 2013 XJ car. Primary amongst them is an all-new 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine which produces 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission with an auto start/stop function as standard. Jaguar claims that the new engine-transmission combo has helped the XJ to be 14 per cent more fuel efficient than the outgoing 5.0-litre V8.
The company has also remapped the damper software in the interest of passenger comfort while the cabin gets a new Meridian sound system.
