The M-SLAZ is a brand new naked motorcycle based on the YFZ R-15 for the Thailand market. This bike takes its inspiration from Yamaha 's naked MT series of motorcycles and has a sharp, edgy design. The M-SLAZ could also be a preview of what to expect from the next version 3 R15. Yamaha hasn't disclosed any engine details at the moment. However, there are quite a few changes from the current R15 v2 that you can read about here. Scroll down for some images of the new M-SLAZ.

Aggressive bodywork is more angular than the bigger MTs. Should give the Yamaha M-SLAZ plenty of street presence

Wild LED headlamp is inspired from the bigger MT-07 and features a parking lamp

Funky dials are fully digital and are a brand new design from Yamaha

The rear features an upswept exhaust, single disc brake and a monoshock. The wheels look similar to the YZF-R3

Slim tail features a minimalist LED brake light and not much for a pillion to grab onto

All Yamaha has shared about the engine is this image. Green core technology, perhaps?
