We've just ridden the new TVS Apache RTR 200 4V at the TVS track in Hosur, just outside Bangalore. The new 200cc challenger from TVS possesses a lot of potential and the company has designed the new Apache to cater to a wider audience. That's by launching carburetted as well as fuel injected variants of the bike. TVS will also offer the bike with either TVS Remoras or Pirellis depending on the variant. An ABS-equipped variant will be launched in a couple of months. While we wait to road test the Apache RTR 200 4V, here's an image gallery of the new TVS.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4v is quick. The engine is refined and only near the top does it betray any signs of hard work
The RTR is effortless to change direction, both in to corners and side-to-side
The fuel injection is crisp and responsive
That front tyre had less outright grip than the rear by some margin and that causes trust issues near the limit
All digital instrument pod sits above the headlamp
The fuel filler cap inexplicably has an orange key hole cover
The handling felt good
