Hyundai Grand i10 garners over 10,000 bookings in 20 days

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that its newest offering the Grand i10 has garnered over 1.1 lakh enquiries and more than 10,000 bookings within 20 days of its September 3 launch.

Hyundai India also claims a 55 per cent rise in footfalls at dealerships across all regions and that the car has received over 70,000 test drive requests.

The Grand i10 comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is the 85PS 1.2-litre Kappa2 Dual VTVT. The diesel engine is a new 1.1-litre three-cylinder U2 CRDi engine that is good for 71PS. It currently comes with just a 5-speed manual transmission option, but a  4-speed auto transmission option for the petrol is scheduled to be launched at a later date.

It also gets features like rear aircon vents, 2-DIN audio system with in-built memory, diamond-cut alloy wheels, two-tone design, smart key with start-stop push button, bluetooth connectivity, multi-functioning steering wheel with bluetooth, audio and trip meter controls, auto OVRMs with integrated indicators, rear parking sensors and cooled glove box.
