Gautam Singhania is the first Indian to qualify for the Ferrari Finali Mondiali 2014

Between December 3 and 7, joining the Ferrari 458 cars taking to the track at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi for the Finali Mondiali will be Gautam Singhania, the first Indian to have qualified for the finale of this event.

This is also the first time the 21 year old racing event will be hosted outside Europe. Singhania recently tasted success at this circuit with a double win in the NGK series.

On qualifying for the finals of the Ferrari Challenge, the Super Car Club founder and Raymond Limited managing director  said, "This is an exhilarating feeling to have two wins under your belt at Abu Dhabi recently. It is an immensely aggressive and competitive racing series with the top ten racers qualifying less than a second apart. I currently have my sights set on the World Finals and looking forward to a great racing weekend."

Originally organised for Ferrari 348 Berlinetta owners, the Ferrari Challenge has been around since 1993. The Finali Mondiali marks the end of the racing season for Ferrari.

Since 1993, Ferrari has been celebrating the end of its racing season with its now-legendary 'Finali Mondiali', and will see competitors from United States, Asia-Pacific, and Europe series coming together. This Ferrari Challenge is a single-marque autosport championship, and was created for owners of the Ferrari 348 Berlinetta, who wanted to be involved in racing. The Ferrari 348 (Type F119) is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive V8-powered 2-seat sports car . This racing tournament is a real treat for Ferrari fans, as this occasion is all set to showcase over 250 exotic and limited series Ferrari cars, thus providing four extraordinary days of excitement and spectacle.
