Coronavirus impact: Ceat extends warranty by three months

Ceat has extended the warranty on all its products by a period of three months across the country. The decision was taken by the company to help their customers during these unprecedented times. The extension is applicable to all tyres expiring from 1st March 2020 to 31st May 2020. Warranty extension will be considered by manufacturing week or year code for an additional month. All the dealerships across the country will pass on the benefits of free and extended warranty to all its customers.

Most manufacturers have extended their service and warranty period to support their customers during this lockdown. Manufacturers have also launched digital platforms that offer doorstep delivery and service facility so that existing owners and potential customers will not have to leave the safety of their homes. Customers are also offered lucrative deals by companies to use digital services. This will promote the initiative and increase the traction on the online portals. We will also see a hike in the demand for vehicles, both two-wheelers and four-wheelers because people would not prefer using public transport in the post lockdown world. And many manufacturers are ready with an offensive strategy to take advantage of the developing situation.
