BMW rolls out service and repair packages

The German luxury car manufacturer has launched three service packages for BMW and Mini cars. The three packages include Oil inclusive, Service Inclusive Basic and Service Inclusive Plus and a Repair Inclusive package, these are valid at authorised service centres across the country. Customers have the liberty to choose a service package according to their usage and it starts from three years or 40,000km to ten years or 2 lakh kilometres.

The Oil inclusive package includes only the oil check and servicing of the customer's car. The Basic Service Inclusive package consists of maintenance work and oil services. It also includes vehicle check-ups, refilling of oil and brake fluid along with replacement of air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and microfilter. The Service Inclusive Plus package includes all oil and maintenance work that's included in the Basic Sevice Inclusive package, along with that it covers wear and tear of parts. Components like brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades (once a year) and clutch are included in the package. Customers can even extend or renew the package after the expiration for an additional tenure of 15 months by paying the extra amount.

Customers can choose to integrate the service package amount into the vehicle loan amount using the BMW Financial Service and in case the car is sold to another person, then the packages are transferable to the new owner. The brand recently appointed Vikram Pawah as the president of BMW Group India along with his present role as Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Australia and New Zealand.
