BMW F 900 XR to be launched in India soon, details and image gallery

Earlier this week BMW Motorrad India released a teaser of its two upcoming motorcycles that will be launched in the country soon. The BMW S 900 XR is one of the them and is the answer to the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 1000, Ducati Multistrada 950 and also the soon to be launched Triumph Tiger 900 GT. BMW has equipped with the F 900 XR with a 850 GS-sourced 895cc parallel-twin engine that puts out 105PS and 92Nm, paired to a six-speed transmission with quick shifter.

In BMW language, F 900 XR offers sporty riding dynamics combined with upright, GS?like ergonomics, outstanding long-distance and passenger suitability and a design that conveys a powerful sense of character. The features list includes traction control, cornering ABS, ride by wire with riding modes, cruise control, adaptive cornering light, keyless ride or intelligent emergency call. Internationally, BMW also offers an option of  fitting engine drag torque control (MSR) which prevents the rear wheel from slipping as a result of abrupt throttling or downshifting. We expect the pricing for the F 900 XR to be in the range of Rs 15-18 lakh. Here's a detailed image gallery of the soon to be launched 2020 BMW F 900 XR.
