2021 Range Rover Sport gets Silver, Dynamic Black and SVR Carbon special editions

Like its larger sibling, the Range Rover Sport has also received new special edition models for its 2021 model year update. There are three such versions, at different price points and based on already existing trim levels.

The first of these is the Range Rover Sport HSE Silver. Based on the top HSE trim level, the Silver edition is fitted with Shadow Altlas finished radiator grille surround, bonnet vent inserts, door handles and Range Rover lettering. This exterior look is completed with 21-inch split five-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss black and diamond-turning. A full range of exterior colour options include Fuji White, Santorini Black, Firenze Red, Eiger Grey, Lantau
Bronze, Hakuba Silver and Carpathian Grey. The interiors are done up in Grand Black veneer dashboard trim with Ebony or Ebony and Ivory upholstery.

The Dynamic Black edition is also based on the HSE trim, and adds all the features of the Black Exterior Package. These include gloss black detailing for the bonnet and tailgate lettering, grille mesh and surround, fender and bonnet vent surrounds and mirror caps. Other additions to this model are gloss-black 21-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass. On the inside you get, black veneer finishes, ebony upholstery and interior trim.

The Special Vehicle Operations outfit has also been at work on the 2021 Range Rover Sport, developing the SVR Carbon Edition. This sits right at the top of the line-up with more carbon-fibre components. These new elements are the exposed centre section of the carbon fibre bonnet with integrated cooling vents, the front bumper insert surrounds, main grille and vent surrounds, mirror covers and tailgate finisher. More carbon-fibre can be found on the SVR steering wheel and on the engine cover. Also, there are special illuminated tread plates and 22-inch five-spoke gloss black wheels.

The Range Rover Sport Silver and Dynamic Black Edition can be had with the same engine options as the HSE. These are the P300 2.0-litre inline-four with 300PS and 400 Nm, we've driven a Range Rover powered by this and you can read about it here. This goes on to the P400e PHEV with 404PS and 640 Nm and the P400 MHEV 3.0-litre inline-six petrol with 400PS and 550 Nm. The new inline six-cylinder diesel engines will be available with these special editions and also with the sporty HST trim. The SVR Carbon is powered by the  575PS and 700 Nm 5.0-litre supercharged V8.

In India, the 2021 Range Rover Sport will be available with the P300, D300 and the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engines. The available trim levels are S, SE, HSE Dynamic, Autobiography Dynamic and SVR.
