Volvo starts trials of 9400PX luxury coach in Bangalore

Volvo Buses has started trial runs of the 9400PX in Bangalore. Unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo, the Volvo 9400PX at 14.5 metre is the country's longest multi-axle intercity bus with a steerable rear tag-axle. It is built on the Volvo PX platform and boasts of a 370PS 11-litre engine. An automated I-Shift gearbox handles the transmission duties. Inside the cabin, passengers have the luxury of a pantry, VOD and toilet â€" ideal for long distance commutes.
