Volkswagen has raised prices of its Polo and Vento cars by up to 2.27 per cent, with the company attributing the hike to many new features added into both the vehicles. The new features include climatronic AC, 2 DIN Bluetooth compatible music systems with provisions for SD card reader, USB and Aux in. A facelift which was introduced in both Polo and Vento in late 2012 brought in smoked effect headlamps and alloy wheels. Inside, the steering wheel had audio controls and the Polo also featured a reverse parking camera. All the changes were made to the Highline variants.
Other companies which have announced a recent hike in their prices include Chevrolet, Maruti and Toyota.
