2021 Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI AT launched at Rs 8.51 lakh
Volkswagen Polo TSI AT was only available with Highline Plus and GT trims but now, buyers can also opt for the Comfortline TSI AT at Rs 8.51 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. Volkswagen Polo has received a slew of engine options and variant reshuffling in the last 11 years. Since the BS6 norms came in, VW Polo was left with only two engine options including the new 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. The Polo was famous for its quick-shifting DSG gearbox but that was replaced with a reliable 6-speed torque converter unit after the BS6 norms came in.
Volkswagen Polo Comfortline TSI AT packs in features like automatic climate control, 15-inch alloy wheels, 2-din infotainment system, front and rear fog lamps, cooled glove box, tilt and telescopic steering and more. The Comfortline TSI AT replaces the Comfortline TSI MT and the Comfortline MT is now only available with the 1.0-litre MPI engine.
Talking about the powertrain, the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine produces 110PS and 175 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter. The low and mid-trim levels of the Polo come with a 1.0-litre MPI naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 76PS and 95 Nm of torque and comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Volkswagen Polo range starts from Rs 6.16 lakh and goes to Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.
