Vietnamese VinFast Showcases India bound VF 7 AND VF 6 Electric SUVs at Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025

The Vietnamese manufacturer VinFast brought the India spec models of VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, making them the first ones from the brand with a right hand drive configuration.

The VF 6 is a crossover electric SUV and we saw the VF 6 in a dark grey paint option with a sharp nose, low-lying headlamps and a V-shaped DRL light signature which runs across the bonnet to the sides. The global spec has a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed WLTP range of 400 km.

The VF 7 is also a crossover but this one is larger than the VF 6 and we saw it in a bright red paint with a similar front facia and different design elements on the bumpers. The VF 7 global spec gets a 75.3 kWh battery pack offering range of 450 km. It also comes in two variants, one single motor and one dual motor.

VinFast aims at bringing affordable EV technology to the country in order to enhance EV adoption and India being a growing EV market they feel it's the best time to arrive. The VF 6 and VF 7 premium SUV s are expected to be launched in the early second half of 2025.

Along with these, VinFast also showcased vehicles from its global lineup including the VF 3, VF e34, VF 8, VF 9 SUVs; Evo 200, Klara, Feliz, Vento, Theon electric scooters; DrgnFly electric bike; and VF Wild pickup truck concept.
