Vespa Primavera and Sprint S showcased
Vespa has introduced updated versions of its Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint S scooters for 2026 in international markets, adding several changes aimed at improving safety, convenience and everyday usability.

One of the most notable updates is the switch to a rear disc brake on the 125cc and 150cc versions. These models now use a 220mm rear disc with a dual-piston caliper instead of the earlier drum setup.
Vespa has also introduced a keyless system on most variants. Except for the entry-level 50 cc model, the updated scooters now allow riders to start the scooter, unlock the seat and locate the vehicle without using a physical key. This feature is now standard on the higher-capacity models.

The 125cc and 150cc versions get newly styled 12-inch alloy wheels with a five-spoke pattern. The Sprint S receives a sportier update with a new side grille on the left side of the bodywork, while the Primavera gets small tweaks to elements such as the mudguard crest and the front "tie" panel. Vespa has also refreshed the seat upholstery across the range.
Most variants now come with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster that replaces the earlier semi-digital display. The new screen shows ride information and also supports smartphone connectivity for features such as call alerts, music control and navigation prompts. The higher-spec Primavera Tech version continues with its larger 5-inch TFT display.
Globally, the Primavera and Sprint S are offered with a wide range of powertrain options, including electric variants. Petrol versions use fuel-injected, three-valve engines in 50cc, 125cc and 150cc configurations.
These refreshed scooters have been revealed for global markets, but it is not yet confirmed whether Piaggio plans to introduce the updated models in India.
