Bentley has unveiled the new Continental Flying Spur ahead of its Geneva Auto Show 2013 debut. The 2014 model also promises to be the fastest 4-door car the manufacturer has ever produced. Powering the Spur is a 6.0-litre W12 engine which isn't different from the one used on the GT Speed. Making 625PS of power and peak torque of 800Nm and aligned to the new 8-speed auto transmission, the Flying Spur can race from 0-100kmph in a claimed 4.3 seconds. The top speed for the Flying Spur is pegged at 332kmph. Bentley also claims that the 2014 model is more efficient than the outgoing one, returning an overall 6.07kmpl.

To give it a distinct identity from the GT, Bentley has changed the grille to a more upright one as also angular front and rear fenders and new tail lamps. Inside, customers have an option to select a four or five-seater passenger configuration. For enhanced comfort, apart from the swathes of leather in the cabin and gadgets, Bentley engineers have added enhanced acoustic lamination. All-around, the suspension bushes have been softened by a good 25 per cent, which will translate into an even better ride quality.
