Ultraviolette F77 to launch on November 24

Ultraviolette Automotive has finally announced the launch date for its F77 electric motorcycle. The bike will go on sale in India on November 24, this year.

Ultraviolette plans to roll-out the much awaited electric in a phased manner, starting with Bangalore, since the bikes are manufactured there. The company also aims to launch the F77 in Europe and the USA. The company claim to have garnered 70,000 pre-launch booking interests from 190 countries.

The F77 will be offered in three variants: Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. Pretty awesome sounding variant names, yes? The bike is said to be powered by an electric motor that has a maximum output of little over 33Ps and 90Nm, which allows it to print from 0-60kmph in 2.9 seconds. The bike will have three ride modes – Eco, Sport and Insane – and top speed is said to be around the 150kmph mark.

The F77 is powered by three battery packs that are claimed to give the bike a range of 150km on a single top-up. The electric gets features like adjustable suspension, dual-channel ABS, multiple riding modes and regenerative braking; among others.
