TVS XL100 Heavy Duty gets alloys
The TVS XL100 gets a new variant named Heavy Duty that come with alloy wheels and it comes with a sticker price of Rs 59,800 (ex-showroom). With this new addition, the portfolio now has five variants with Heavy Duty at the top.

The TVS XL100 uses a BSVI compliant 99.7CC, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that pushes 4.35 PS at 6,000 rpm and 6.5 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm. The company claims a top speed of 58 kmph. It has a fuel tank capacity of 4.0-litres, a ground clearance of 150 mm, a wheelbase of 1,228 mm and it tips the scales at 89 kg. And the company claims a payload of 150 kg.
The TVS XL100 uses a 110 mm drum unit up front and at the rear for braking duties. And the suspension setup comprises of a telescopic unit up front and a twin shock unit at the rear. It rides on 16-inch wheels that come shod with tubeless tyres. In terms of features, the TVS XL100 gets LED headlamp, a tilt sensor that turns off the engine for safety, CBS, and on-board diagnostics indicator.
