Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX launched at Rs 23.07 lakh
The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX has been launched in India and it will cost you Rs 23.07 lakh with production locked at 1200 units across the globe.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX gets a few RX exclusive bits such as Akrapovic silencer, the titanium race exhaust reduces weight and also adds character to the exhaust note. It comes with carbon fibre front mudguard, lower clip-on handlebar, rearset footpegs, Ohlins SD EC steering damper integrated with the Smart EC3 system and exclusive Triumph Performance Yellow paintjob.
The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX uses the same 1160CC, liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine that comes mated to six-speed gearbox. The engine pushes 183 PS at 10,750 rpm and 128 Nm of peak torque at 8,750 rpm.
The engine sits in a twin-spar frame with a bolt on aluminium rear subframe, and the bike rides on 17-inch alloys that come shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 rubber. The suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable 43 mm USD fork by Öhlins up front and a monoshock with linkage at the rear, both units have 120 mm of travel. Braking duties are handled by twin 320 mm rotors by Brembo up front and a single 220 mm rotor at the rear.
The standard rider aids include traction control, triumph shift assist, optimised cornering ABS (OCABS), brake slide assist, and a five-inch TFT dash to name a few. The company also offers optional accessories like frame protectors, scrolling indicators, and Tail tidy kit.
The company is yet to disclose the number allotted to India.
