Toyota Glanza CNG launched in India, prices start from Rs 8.43 lakh
Toyota India has launched its first CNG offering for with the Toyota Glanza E-CNG. Prices start from Rs 8.43 lakh and bookings have already opened. Alongside this, Toyota has also started accepting bookings for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder E-CNG.
Toyota Glanza CNG specifications, fuel-efficiency
The Toyota Glanza E-CNG gets the same powertrain as the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG. The hatchback uses the 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, K12N engine that puts out 77PS and 98.5 Nm in the CNG mode. The outputs rise to 90PS and 119 Nm in the petrol mode. The Glanza CNG can be had only with the five-speed manual with an ARAI-rated CNG fuel efficiency of 30.61 km/kg.
Toyota Glanza CNG variants, features
The Toyota Glanza CNG is being offered in the mid S and G variants. The Toyota Glanza S includes features like turn indicators on outer mirrors, touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, electrically adjustable and retracting outer mirrors and steering-mounted audio and phone controls.
The Toyota Glanza G further adds auto headlamps with follow-home function, rear window washer/wiper, 4.2-inch colour MID, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, voice control and remote, toyota i-Connect connected car features, side and curtain airbags, push-button start, rear camera, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, driver seat height adjust and rear AC vents.
Toyota Glanza CNG prices, bookings, rivals
The Toyota Glanza E-CNG is priced at Rs 8.43 lakh for the S variant and Rs 9.43 lakh for the G variants. Bookings for both the Glanza E-CNG and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder E-CNG have opened online and at Toyota dealerships. The Glanza CNG competes most closely with the near-identical Maruti Suzuki Baleno S-CNG.
