Top carmakers by sales in India November 2022
Hyundai Motor and Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) are the top two automakers in terms of sales of passenger cars in November of this year.
Hyundai sold 48,002 units in November, compared to almost 1.32 lakh sales for Maruti Suzuki during the same time frame. According to figures from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai each sold 1.09 lakh units and 37,001 units in November of last year, respectively (SIAM).
Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motor reported sales of over 10.67 lakh units and over 3.81 lakh units, respectively, between April and November 20222023. Sales of 8.11 lakh units and 3.16 lakh units, respectively, were recorded by the automakers.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd sold 30,392 units in November followed by Kia India Pvt Ltd with 24,025 and then by Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd with 11,728. Honda Cars India Ltd sold 7,051 units in India in November 2022.
