Maruti Suzuki as usual takes up most of the top spots in the best-selling cars of October 2022. Car sales did go upward for the month of October 2022 due to the festival season. Here's a list of the best-selling cars in October 2022.

Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon doesn't come in as any surprise on this list as it sold 13,767 units in October 2022 up from 10,096 units in October 2021, helping the compact SUV register a 36 percent growth.

The Tata Nexon is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine generates 119PS and 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 109PS and 260Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual gearbox and an optional AMT unit.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Maruti Suzuki sold 17,149 Balenos in October 2022 compared to 8,077 during the same month last year.

The car gets a 360-degree camera and even a heads-up display. The other highlights of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno include a new front bumper, LED headlamps, new fog lights, new alloy wheels, LED taillights, a black and blue interior theme, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Maruti's SmartPlay Studio app, steering-mounted controls, engine start-stop button, automatic climate control and a height-adjustable driver seat. It's pretty clear to see why the Baleno tops the charts now.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

The Maruti Suzuki Swift has been around the Indian market for quite some time now. Its sporty looks and fun yet reliable engine make up for the perfect hatchback without being too heavy on your wallet. This is one reason why Maruti Suzuki sold over 12,321 Swifts in October 2022. It comes with a good list of features as well like projector headlights, LED DRLs, 15-inch precision-cut alloy wheels, a coloured 4.2-inch TFT display cruise control, idle start-stop function, and key synchronised auto-foldable ORVMs.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The Maruti Wagon R doesn't quite do enough to secure the top spot for October 2022 by selling 17,945 units.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is available in four variant options. The dashboard is highlighted by a seven-inch Smart Play Studio with smartphone navigation and 4 speakers. The standard safety feature list includes ? dual airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), front seat belts reminder, high-speed alert system and rear parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki Alto

A small city car by the name of Maruti Suzuki Alto has been on the market for a very long time. It may be a very small vehicle but that doesn't stop its sales. Maruti Suzuki sold 21,260 Maruti Suzuki Alto units in May 2022. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors, front and rear bottle holder, power windows, remote keyless entry and front dual airbags are the list of features that are available on the Alto.
