Top 10 cheapest cars available with sunroof

Tata Altroz

Tata's Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno rival, the Altroz, was recently introduced with the voice-assisted electric sunroof. The carmaker also launched more affordable variants of the hatchback with the sunroof earlier this month. The cheapest Altroz variant with electric sunroof, the XM (S), is priced at Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable model on-sale to offer electric sunroof at this price point. On the other hand, the Altroz CNG also gets an option of electric sunroof from its XZ+ (S) variant, priced at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Exter

The recently launched Exter is the cheapest car to be available with an electric sunroof. While it is offered in a range of variants, namely EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect, the sunroof is available in variants, start from SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect. The prices of the SX and SX (O) start from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Whereas, the top-spec SX (O) Connect costs Rs 9.32 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. Interestingly, the Exter SX CNG, priced at Rs 8.97 lakh (ex-showroom) also comes with the sunroof.

Hyundai i20

The premium hatchback from the South Korean automaker is one of the handful hatchbacks in the country to offer an electric sunroof, which comes in its higher spec variants: Asta and Asta (O). The former costs Rs 9.03 lakh (ex-showroom), while the prices of the latter start from Rs 9.77 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the i20 facelift is likely to arrive later this year.

Hyundai Venue

The Venue is one of the highest-selling sub-four meter SUVs in the Indian market and is also feature-rich among its rivals. Available in six variants, Hyundai offer the sunroof only in its SX and SX (O) variants. The prices of the SX and SX (O) start at Rs 10.93 lakh and Rs 12.35 lakh (both ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon

One of the most sought-after sub-compact SUVs from Tata, the Nexon gets an electric sunroof with tilt-function. The prices of the sunroof-equipped variant, called the XM (S) of the SUV, start from Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nexon emerges as the cheapest sub-four meter SUV to offer the sunroof, followed by the Sonet, XUV300, Brezza, and Venue.

Kia Sonet

Another sub-four meter SUV on the list is the Kia Sonet. Available in a wide range of trims, such as HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX AE, HTX+, GTX+, and X-Line, the cheapest sunroof-equipped variant of the Sonet is called the HTK+ at Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the starting price of the Sonet's sunroof variant is significantly cheaper than the Hyundai Venue.

Mahindra XUV300

The XUV300 has also made it to the list of most affordable cars with sunroof. The sub-four meter SUV is available in four variants: W4, W6, W8, and W8 (Optional pack). It gets the electric sunroof from W6 variant onwards with prices starting at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Maruti Suzuki offers an electric sunroof with the Brezza in its higher-spec trims, including CNG variants. The ZXi and ZXi+ petrol and CNG versions come with this feature. While the prices of the ZXi petrol start at Rs 11.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the ZXi CNG costs Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

New Hyundai Verna

The new generation Verna comes equipped with a raft of features across its six variants. Unlike the other Hyundai models, it offers the electric sunroof in four trim levels: SX, SX (O), SX Turbo, and SX (O) Turbo. The prices of the cheapest variant that comes with the sunroof start at Rs 12.98 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Verna trim costs Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta

The popular compact SUV, the Hyundai Creta, is the only vehicle on the list to get a panoramic sunroof. It is available in a variety of trim levels, including a special edition version, called Knight Edition, which is also the cheapest variant to offer the panoramic sunroof at Rs 13.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
