Skoda has unveiled the Laurin & Klement (L&K) variant for the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe EVs, which includes a larger battery pack, more power, shorter charging times, battery preheating, the company's latest vehicle software, and several exterior and interior design features that set it apart from the other trim levels. The Czech manufacturer has already confirmed with us that the Enyaq will be making its debut in India in 2024.

The new Enyaq L&K 85 features a 285PS motor that will be used in future all-electric Skoda cars. Surprisingly, both the rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive L&K trims have the same maximum power output.

The rear-wheel drive Enyaq L&K 85 accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. The top speed has been increased to 180 kmph, and the maximum range on the WLTP cycle has been increased to 570 kilometres. The Enyaq L&K 85x with all-wheel drive speeds from zero to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a range of up to 550 kilometres.

The charging curve of the battery has been optimized, allowing the Enyaq L&K to be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent capacity in less than 30 minutes.

The L&K has unique aesthetic elements that set it different from the other Enyaq variants. Platinum Grey accents may be seen on the special bumpers, diffusers, and ORVMs. The grille comes equipped with 131 LEDs. Matrix-LED headlights are standard, as are 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels and L&K branding on the front wings. Customers may pick between the regular SUV and the Coupe body designs for the Enyaq.

A new user interface is also introduced with the new Enyaq L&K. The system has been streamlined to improve the user experience, as well as the colours used on the infotainment display, instrument display, and HUD. The infotainment display has been updated with new software, and the fast access buttons have been made more visible. The car comes standard with the top-spec package, which includes a 5.3-inch instrument display and a 13-inch infotainment display.

The new Skoda Enyaq L&K interior comes with two design options. The Design Selection L&K Shell comes standard with beige leather upholstery, while the L&K Black is an alternative. This variation only has massage and ventilation in the front seats. The infotainment system may control these functions. Ambient lighting, aluminium pedals, and heated steering are standard.

Skoda has also deleted the iV name from the Enyaq model line with the new model. The Laurin & Klement trim was named after the Czech automotive company's founders, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement.
