One of the few active formula student racing teams in India, Orion Racing Team from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, displayed their electric racing vehicle Lemnos. The Godrej Group's main company, Godrej and Boyce, provided guidance for the car's construction. In the presence of Formula 4 Racer Mira Erda, professional racer Saurav Bandyopadhyay, KJ Somaiya College of Engineering Principal Dr Shubha Pandit, and Team Orion Racing India, the vehicle was officially unveiled by Anil G Verma, Executive Director and President, Godrej and Boyce.

Lemnos features an Emrax 228 MV motor controlled by a UNITEK Bamocar D3-700 and has a maximum motor power of 136PS. During an acceleration event, the potent motor is designed to deliver a maximum motor rpm of 4,600 and a maximum vehicle velocity of 90kmph. This is accomplished by combining an ergonomic body with a carefully crafted drivetrain.

The vehicle will make its public premiere in the Formula Student Austria 2022 event held by the Redbull F1 Racetrack in Austria in July 2022 and the Formula Student Germany 2022 event hosted by the Hockenheimring F1 Racetrack in Germany in August 2022. On this platform at FSG '19, they were ranked first among all Asian teams. Orion Racing India also disclosed at the event that it intends to release an electric racing car in the formula style by 2024.

Commenting on the occasion, Anil Verma, Executive Director & President, Godrej and Boyce, said, "At Godrej and Boyce, we have always been passionate about empowering our future generations. With 125 years of knowledge and expertise in technology, we believe it is our duty to motivate and support the next generation that bear passion to dream big and pioneer progress, just as we do. The young engineering minds have been an inspiration to all of us given their passion, dedication, and originality that they showcased while designing and building Lemnos. We are confident that Team Orion Racing India will make India proud at the Formula Student Austria and Germany races 2022."
