TE Connectivity introduces two-position sealed fuse box for two-wheelers
TE Connectivity (TE), a global leader in providing connectivity solutions to multiple industries, today announced the introduction of a two-position sealed fuse box for anti-lock braking system (ABS) applications within two-wheelers.
The two-position sealed fuse box provides a miniaturized solution that reduces packaging weight and size and is designed to withstand harsh outdoor environments, including water and dust. The product is based on a proven AMP MCP 2.8mm terminal. It has a maximum current rating of 40A, a maximum terminal mating force of 6N and a maximum terminal unmating force of 5N. The product includes a spare fuse and additional features like an attached clip for easy chassis mounting.
"The two-position sealed fuse box for tw0-wheelers is designed and produced locally in TE Connectivity's manufacturing plant in Pune. We have implemented this critical safety application with a leading two-wheeler OEM in India with great success," said Mr. Viswanath S, Director, Automotive for TE Connectivity in India.
