Tata Zest specs and image gallery
Tata Motors unveiled an all-new sub-4m sedan, the Zest, in India at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Indian car manufacturer has also unveiled the Bolt, a hatchback. The Zest is the first of the many sub-4m sedans to be launched or unveiled at the motor show.
The Zest will get the new Revotron 1.2l petrol engine. The petrol will be mated to the F-Tronic Automated Manual Trnsmission (AMT). The AMT is the same automated manual technology promised by Maruti Suzuki in its upcoming Celerio. It gets 1.3l quadrajet diesel engine.
We have driven the AMT Celerio, and were impressed by the technology. It should be no different in the case of the Bolt and Zest as well.
The Zest gets a new advanced ABS and an all-new Harman Infotainment system with a state-of-the-art 5-inch touchscreen display. Advanced Bluetooth, voice recognition, text to speech and phone-enabled navigation are other technologies available with the Zest.
Here is an image gallery and specifications of the all-new Zest.
