Tata Tiago NRG launched in Nepal with price tag of NPR 33.75 lakh

Following the footsteps of the Tata Safari and Tata Nexon EV that was launched in Nepal last month and a month before that, respectively, Tata Motors has now launched the all-new Tata Tiago NRG in Nepal in partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd. Pricing for the car starts at NPR 33.75 lakhs.

Commenting on this launch, Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi Trading Pvt. Tiago and gets a full suite of creature comforts like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto/Apple Carplay and 8 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, auto climate control, push-button start, steering mounted controls, height-adjustable driver's seat and auto-folding outer mirrors, among other things. Safety features include 2 afront airbags, ABS and corner stability control and carries over the 4-start Global NCAP rating of the standard Tiago.

The Tiago NRG launched in Nepal will be offered in four exterior colour options - Forest Green, Fire Red, Snow White and Cloudy Grey.

It comes with 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol, revotron engine, with either a manual or an automatic transmission. Tata claims it is engineered to deliver optimum power and torque for a better driving experience and is also a very capable off-roader. The Tiago NRG is equipped with a revised suspension tune to handle rougher terrain than the standard Tiago.

The steep price tag of NPR 33.75 lakh on the Tiago NRG doesn't come as a surprise as we know the Nexon EV costs from NPR 35.99 lakh and the Safari starts from NPR 81.99 lakh.
