Tata Nano going to US?
The Tata Nano may not have topped the sales chart in India, as much as its makers would have liked it to, however, this hasn't stopped the company from exporting it. Now news has come in that Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Group has plans of getting the Nano stateside. However, the US-specific Nano will not be an ultra low-cost car like the one we have here and instead will come with airbags, traction control and power steering. It will most likely also get a powerful engine than the 38PS 600cc one that is sold here. The looks may also be altered, more on the lines of the Megapixel concept showcased in the picture. The car will however be priced below the $10,000 mark when it makes its US debut.
