LCVs and HCVs are both part of Tata Motors' commercial lineup. Tata has now introduced a new generation of commercial vehicles with minor design tweaks and a number of onboard innovations that will breathe fresh life into its CV lineup and attract new customers.

Tata unveiled K.14 Ultra, 710 SK and 610 LPK range of tippers, the T.16 CX Ultra truck, and the FE series comprising 912 LPT, 1012 LPT, 1212 LPT, 1412 LPT, and 1512 LPT. Tata also unveiled the CNG range of Signa series trucks comprising of LPT 1918, Signa 2818, and LPT 2818.

The K.14 will be the tipper line's flagship, with a mechanically suspended seat, an electronic tipping switch, a 3.3-litre engine, and 9.0X20 tyres. The T.16 CX Ultra truck was also on display, and it included 360-degree monitoring, dual fuel economy modes, and telescopic steering adjustment.

The 3.3-litre engine in the FE series is tried and true and aims for optimal fuel economy. These trucks are among the most sought-after because they provide the greatest degree of adaptability, including a range of cargo bay sizes and a high level of suspension capacity.

A new 5.7L SGI engine with 180PS and 650 Nm of torque, and a tank range of up to 1,000 km will be standard on all new CNG trucks. With CNG as the fuel and as the early adopter, we may expect additional OEMs to follow Tata Motors in its efforts to alter logistics. These trucks come in a variety of load bay sizes and have a capacity ranging from 19 to 28 tonnes. Tata also claims a range of 1,000 km from its CNG-powered trucks.

Tata Motors has also introduced ADAS in its new Prima range which comes with features like Collision Mitigation System (CMS), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) developed with extensive validation, especially for Indian operating conditions. The vehicle also offers additional safety features like Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Additionally, the new Prima range boasts an ergonomically improved interior that improves driving comfort as well as best-in-class technologies and conveniences that increase driver and vehicle safety. The Prima and Signa range now comes with a 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls and Bluetooth connectivity, 7-inch advanced HMI touchscreen integrated with advanced connectivity features, all-new instrument cluster and easy-to-access switch panel.
