Tata Motors rolls out 1 lakh units of the Tata Punch in just 10 months
Tata Motors has announced that it has rolled out 1 lakh units of its Tata Punch from its manufacturing facility in Pune. The model, which debuted in October 2021 and reached this milestone in just 10 months, is priced between Rs 5.93 and Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
There are five different variants of the Tata Punch: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, Creative, and Kaziranga. Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, and Calypso Red will be among the model's available colours. The vehicle scored 5 stars overall for safety in the Global NCAP crash test.
Powering the Tata Punch is the 1.2-litre Revotron naturally aspirated petrol that puts out 86PS and 113 Nm. This motor pairs with a five-speed manual, or in the top-three variants, with a five-speed AMT. The motor has been retuned here for better low-end performance while the AMT now offers a Traction Pro mode for improved performance. The manual returns an ARAI fuel consumption figure of 19 kmpl.
The Tata Punch comes with a range of variants but fully-loaded versions come fitted with projector lamps and LED DRLs, LED taillamps, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers, push-button start, climate control, adjustable driver seat, cooled glovebox, auto-fold ORVM, cruise control, 7 inch Harman infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple Carplay, 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, iRA connected car technology with What3Words. Notably, owners can choose styling packs to enhance the features of their chosen variants at the prices shown below.
