Tata Motor launches the new Tata Safari Gold at Rs 21.89 lakh

The Tata Safari is already quite the head-turner from a visual perspective but if customers prefer something even more striking and bold, Tata Motors has introduced a new Gold edition of the Tata Safari, which costs Rs 21.89 lakh.

The new Tata Safari Gold will be available in two colours - White Gold and Black Gold.

Frost White is used with contrasting black components in the White Gold colour. In order to create a dual-tone look, the version also gets a black roof. The white colour is also accented with delicate golden touches. The exteriors of the Black Gold colour are inspired by coffee beans, with brilliant golden highlights. The interiors include a Dark Marble finish on the mid pad and golden accents throughout the cabin.

Even the interiors of the Tata Safari Gold witness a few upgrades. Premium features such as Oyster white diamond quilted real leather seats with ventilation on both the first and second rows, wireless charger, air purifier, Android Auto & Apple Carplay through wifi, give this big SUV an adequate 'Gold' touch.

The Safari Gold will get the same 2.0-litre FCA-sourced Multijet diesel engine, dubbed Kryotec by Tata, with 172PS and 350Nm of torque. The engine is paired with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The new Safari Gold edition will make its first public appearance at the VIVO IPL 2021 in Dubai.
