Tata Motors introduce new vehicle scrapping facility in Surat
Tata Motors has opened its third RVSF (Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility) in Surat, Gujarat. The plant, known as 'Re.Wi.Re' - Recycle with Respect - has the capability of recycling 15,000 automobiles each year. Tata Motors and Shree Ambica Auto have collaborated to create and run this new scrapping plant.
Re.Wi.Re. is a cutting-edge facility designed specifically for disassembling end-of-life passenger and commercial cars of all types, with an emphasis on ecologically acceptable techniques. The fully digitalized plant has specialized cell-type and line-type dismantling for commercial and passenger cars, respectively, and all processes are paperless and smooth.
There are also designated stations for the safe dismantling of various components such as tyres, batteries, gasoline, lubricants, liquids, and gases. Every car goes through a comprehensive documentation and disassembly procedure developed exclusively for passenger and commercial vehicles.
Tata Motors has already opened two additional car scrapping facilities in Jaipur and Bhubaneshwar, and this third one marks a key milestone for the automaker's sustainability activities.
