Tata Motors today inked an MoU with Everest Fleet Private Limited for the supply of 5,000 XPRES-T EVs in an effort to uphold the objective of a clean and green environment.

Tata Motors handed over 100 automobiles today to commemorate this milestone as it moves closer to speeding the shift to sustainable transportation.

There are two range choices available for the new XPRES-T electric sedan: 213km and 165km (ARAI-certified range under test conditions). It has two batteries with high energy densities that can be charged from 0 percent to 80 percent in 90 and 110 minutes, respectively, utilizing fast charging.

It can also be charged conventionally from any suitable 15 A plug point. It includes two airbags, a single-speed automatic transmission, zero tailpipe emissions, and ABS with EBD as standard across all models. It will stand out from other Tata cars thanks to the premium black inside with automatic temperature control as standard and Electric Blue accents all over the interior and exterior.

According to Siddharth Ladsariya, Founder, Everest Fleet Private Limited, "Everest Fleet is a purpose-led organisation with a deep focus on sustainable mobility solutions. At Everest Fleet, we are paving the way for a better India, one kilometer at a time. Time has come to now take our 100% CNG cars' fleet towards a greener and cleaner alternative - Electric Vehicle. We are really looking forward for this EV journey together with Tata Motors as a strategic partner."
