Suzuki Motorcycle India unveils the e ACCESS Electric Scooter at Bharat Mobility Global Expo
Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled their first electric scooter, the e ACCESS at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The e ACCESS comes as the first all-electric scooter from Suzuki in India. The e-ACCESS electric scooter is powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, known for its safety, durability, and long life. The battery is securely integrated into the frame for added protection. It can be charged at home or with portable chargers, taking 6 hours and 42 minutes for a full charge with a portable charger, and 2 hours and 12 minutes with a fast charger. The scooter's drivetrain is powered by Suzuki E-technology. The e-ACCESS offers a maximum speed of 71 km/h*, a maximum power output of 4.1 kW* and a maximum torque of 15 Nm*. It provides a range of 95 km* on a single charge, with an energy consumption rate of 39Wh/km*.
The Suzuki e-ACCESS offers three drive modes, a keyless system, a multi-function starter switch, a colour TFT LCD screen, and smartphone connectivity through the Suzuki Ride Connect-E App. It features a side-stand interlock system, tip-over detection, and a multi-function starter switch. The vehicle will be available in three dual-tone colours and pricing will be announced closer to the market launch.
