Suzuki launches updated Gixxer and Gixxer 250 line-up in India

Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has launched the updated Gixxer and Gixxer 250 range in India with prices starting at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). All models are available with new paint jobs and an updated dashboard. Meanwhile, the Gixxer series comprises Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, and Gixxer SF 250.

Updated Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer 250: New Colours
Suzuki has bestowed the updated Gixxer and Gixxer SF with three new shades, namely Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, and a dual-tone Metallic Sonic Silver/ Pearl Blaze Orange. On the other hand, the Gixxer 250 is offered with Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No. 2, while the Gixxer SF 250 is available in a choice of three colours: Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and a dual-tone Metallic Sonic Silver/ Metallic Triton Blue.

Updated Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer 250 range: Suzuki Ride Connect
Along with new colour schemes, the Gixxer and Gixxer 250 range is now available with a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument console. This system brings in a wide range of features, such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming/missed call alert, SMS and WhatsApp notifications, along with speed limit-exceeding warning, phone battery charge display, and estimated time of arrival. Users can connect both iOS and Android devices to motorcycles.

Updated Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer 250: Engine
The Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 continue to be powered by the 249cc, oil/air-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC motor generating 26.5PS at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm of torque at 7,300rpm. It comes coupled to a six-speed gearbox. Whereas, the Gixxer and Gixxer SF also carry forward the same 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine as the previous model. Mated to a five-speed gearbox, this motor produces 13.6PS at 8,000rpm and 13.8Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
